Who you are
- First and foremost, you are a brilliant team player who thrives working in a fast-paced collaborative scale-up environment
- You always have plenty of ideas and experience on how to drive activation, re-engagement, retention, and conversion
- You are a CRM software expert (i.e. Braze, Leanplum, Clever Tap, or similar) and have a deep understanding of creating and optimising multichannel CRM experiences
- 4+ years of experience with email/mobile/in-app campaign management, Marketing Automation, analytics, and optimization
- 3+ years of experience and proven track record of building strategy and planning for CRM programs
- Strong English communication skills - written and verbal
- Proven track record in orchestrating meaningful and effective work processes to foster global collaboration
- Experience working in a SaaS company with a subscription-based model is a merit
- Experience of working with email marketing tools, and systems for delivering on other mobile channels (e.g. push notifications, SMS, in-app) including a solid understanding of deliverability optimization
- Proven knowledge of key email metrics and strategies that can increase engagement
- Operational experience with life cycle flows and multivariate testing using CRM software
- Experience in mobile app communication is a merit
- Basic coding skills in CSS, HTML, Javascript or JQuery are a big plus
- Passionate & knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
What the job involves
- We are now looking for an exceptional CRM Campaign Manager to join our incredible Growth team
- The role is a maternity cover starting in February for a period of 14 months, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate after the cover period
- In the role of CRM Campaign Manager, you will be part of the global Lifecycle Marketing team reporting directly to the Global Director of Lifecycle Marketing, Christina Urban Sørensen
- As the CRM Campaign Manager, you play a pivotal role in orchestrating a seamless and impactful journey for the Podimo brand across 7 diverse markets (Denmark, Norway, Netherlands, Finland, Germany, Spain and Mexico)
- Your expertise in stakeholder management, communication, and marketing automation is crucial, as you become the linchpin for seven local markets seeking strategic counsel on delivering compelling ad-hoc CRM initiatives every month (Monthly newsletters, podcast premieres etc)
- In this multifaceted position, you act as the conduit between local teams as their Point of Contact from the Global Lifecycle Marketing team, who own the CRM platform Braze. This requires not only adept communication skills but also a talent for fostering relationships
- Your responsibility extends beyond mere advisory functions; you're tasked with implementing meaningful and efficient processes that enhance the overall workflow in executing ad-hoc campaign initiatives
- Your goal is to streamline operations, ensuring that every interaction with our brand reflects excellence and engages our audience effectively
- Moreover, your influence extends globally as a vital member of our Listening Squad. Here, you lead initiatives focused on elevating consent rates and cultivating deeper connections with our content (podcasts and audiobooks)
- Your strategic insights and hands-on approach drive these projects, contributing to our brand's global resonance and impact. As a CRM Campaign Manager, you are not just a facilitator; you are a catalyst for innovation, efficiency, and profound audience engagement
- Global Lifecycle Management: Play a pivotal role in managing global Lifecycle Marketing at Podimo
- Stakeholder Consultation: Provide strategic counsel to seven local markets, acting as the linchpin for compelling ad-hoc CRM initiatives monthly
- Communication and Relationship Building: Foster relationships as the primary Point of Contact between local teams and the Global Lifecycle Marketing team
- Global Influence and Thought Leadership: Lead global initiatives within the Listening Squad, focusing on increasing consent rates and deepening content connections through CRM tactics
- Advanced Technology Collaboration: Collaborate with large data analytics, BI, and AI teams on data-based CRM flows, utilizing the 'Braze' CRM system
- Cross-Functional Project: Lead cross-functional projects using available data to create CRM use cases that enhance user behaviour

Podcasting and audiobook listening has exploded in popularity, with the flexibility of listening while doing other activities driving much of this market growth. Podimo is a podcast and audiobook platform taking the Nordic Countries by storm with its service.
The company boasts a close connection with the creators on its platform, which is appealing because other sites have been infamous for treating creators poorly. For example, Podimo's revenue-share model is not based on the size of a creator's following - which makes it particularly attractive to newer podcasters.
Despite large rivals like Apple, Spotify, and Google, Podimo has been standing its ground, and was named the fastest-growing podcast service in Finland. It has secured good funding and made some acquisitions over the years. It also impressively surpassed 1 million paying subscribers in 2025, in only its fifth year of operations.
