Our take

Working towards building a net-zero society, Zenobē owns and operates stationary battery storage assets. Its circular battery economy model is transforming the way businesses use power in order to reduce costs and carbon emission, protecting the environment.

As a market leader in battery storage, Zenobē has also become a driving force in the UK's electric bus transition, holding around 25% of the market. Following a £980M funding boost, the company is set to support more than 5,000 electric buses by 2028, helping operators accelerate the shift to zero-emission transport at scale.

Building on this momentum, Zenobē continues to scale its impact beyond the UK. Alongside landmark funding to accelerate transport decarbonisation, the company has expanded into Germany through the acquisition of sdp energie, bringing its battery storage expertise to one of Europe's fastest-growing energy storage markets and reinforcing its role in driving the transition to a more resilient, zero-carbon energy system.
