With recent years having taken a heavy toll on people’s finances, it’s no surprise that new financial services are cropping up to help offer solutions. One knot many are trying to untangle is how to offer more up-to-date, rigorous, and representative credit scores - and Prograd is tackling that issue specifically for Gen Z, with their financial services marketplace and unique credit assessment methods.
This could prove an increasingly astute move. Reports suggest both that Gen Z are proving one of the more fiscally responsible generations when it comes to credit, and that they are more likely to be open to the use of new open banking protocols to access financial products that would otherwise be out of reach. Prograd's marketplace of such products is tied to a credit score users can cultivate on the Postgrad platform with clear guidance and Postgrad-exclusive rewards. It’s looking like a smart and increasingly necessary tool to help navigate the new and changing lending landscape for young people.
Prograd is active on TikTok and other content production platforms, demonstrating a laser–tight focus on netting this new demographic of borrowers as they mature into the financial services market. It’s a strong premise, that is being executed confidently and with good returns to date. Funds raised by the company will help accelerate its marketing and development, including its algorithm-based products, as well as support the launch of its app.
