Our take
As Web3 expands, crypto projects face the ongoing risk of scammers and hackers. Immunefi is tackling this challenge and leading the way in security within DeFi and Web3. Facilitating network hosting, bug triaging, and program management in the Blockchain, Immunefi also offers smart contract projects to its customers, reviewing code, disclosing possible vulnerabilities, and securing these projects from exploits.
Since launching in 2020, customers of Immunefi include smart contract projects like Synthetix, TheGraph, Polygon, and SushiSwap. The company is now focusing on onboarding many more in the near future.
With bug bounties being a critical component of the company's long-term survival within the industry, Immunefi has partnered with the likes of ICON Foundation and Binance Smart Chain, securing more projects and cementing its standing within the rapidly growing Web3 world. September 2022 saw $24 million Series A awarded to Immunefi, leading to more incentives for whitehat hackers to engage with its bug bounty challenges.
