Our take

Cortex is helping solve the problems engineering teams and SREs have with microservices. Cortex’s software platform offers companies visibility and control over microservices and cloud infrastructure, enabling them to improve the development of applications and services they create.

To see to the growing demand for more services, Cortex recently launched its Cortex Resource Catalog so the platform can cater to more assets. Given this, the company’s rapidly growing customer base (which includes Adobe, Brex, Grammarly, Palo Alto Networks, and SoFi) has found the platform to provide great flexibility, which enables them to develop various creative new use cases.

Funding from Tiger Global and Sequoia Capital will go towards further expanding the platform based on feature request from users. It will invest in improvements in-app to help recruit new teams and developers, as well as expanding its global reach.
