Our take
Industrial production hasn't seen many breakthrough innovations in the past decades, even after centuries of innovation. The introduction of AI into machinery is enabling new levels of reliability, ease and cost. Investors are calling it Industry 4.0.
Manufacturing is a huge market and is going through shifts as the world moves its focus towards innovative design and personalisation. However, with mass production still needing to be an achievable feat, the technology that enables cheaper yet reliable manufacturing will be central to this shift.
CloudNC has developed several machines and processes that add automation capabilities and is further developing its first-of-its-kind SaaS product. This will enable large corporations, SMEs and individuals to tell CNC machines how to make precision parts with one click, addressing a production bottleneck that CloudNC has received significant funding to solve.
