Our take

Hair loss affects roughly 1-in-2 men, and for some can be a source of unhappiness and loss of self-esteem. Although there is no proven cure for baldness, preventative measures have been shown to lessen and prevent hair loss before it starts; but sifting through the endless products to find something that will work, for a reasonable price, can be hard. Keeps offers a subscription service that delivers FDA-approved treatments to the door, taking away the guesswork for consumers who want to treat or prevent hair loss.

There is and has been an abundance of anti-hair-loss products on the market, though the majority historically, and many still today, are poorly regarded – even snake oil – solutions. Keeps not only provides researched, doctor-approved products, but also delivers tailored plans that begin with a medical consultation. This unique, medical-first approach to hair loss is also evident in detailed website listings of the drugs they sell, as well as the follow-up care provided with each plan.

Keeps is a child company of Thirty Madison, which has raised massive investment including from healthcare giants Johnson & Johnson. Its involvement shows that Keeps is regarded as an important part of the healthcare industry’s future, set apart from competitors by its focussed approach on one condition.
