Role
Who you are
- Stensul seeks an innovative and strategic Content Marketing Manager to join our marketing team
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, content creation, or a related role
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing strategies
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to create content that resonates with a B2B audience of marketers at enterprise organizations
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience with SEO tools
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms
- Experience with analytics tools to measure and analyze content performance
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience in the SaaS or technology sector is a plus

- In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation
- You will create and manage high-quality content that resonates with our target audience and supports our overall marketing goals
- Develop and implement a content marketing strategy that aligns with Stensul's business objectives, messaging pillars, and audience interest
- Create compelling and valuable content across various formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, infographics, videos, presentations, webinars, and social media posts
- Manage the content calendar to ensure a consistent and timely delivery of content that supports marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and product teams to identify content needs and opportunities
- Optimize content for SEO to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic
- Utilize analytics tools to measure content performance and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Manage external content creators, including freelancers and agencies, to supplement in-house capabilities
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains high quality and consistency
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing and incorporate them into Stensul's content strategy
- Drive engagement and interaction with our target audience through various content distribution channels
Our take
Creating high-performance marketing emails can be time consuming for internal teams, who often have to rely on engineering and product teams for support. The founders of Stensul noted the number of tools available to businesses to support email delivery, but saw this gap for helping with creation.
Considering the importance of email in the world of marketing, every company in the world is a potential client for Stensul, and it has already worked with enterprise brands including YouTube, Samsung, Verizon Media, BMW, and Capital One. Despite competition from larger email marketing services such as MailChimp and Moosend, the company has secured substantial backing which enabled it to expand operations throughout the last few years.
Most lately, Stensul has focussed on improving its functionality, with the largest change being the addition of a landing page builder to its platform. This capability is now treated as a core part of the company's offering, and should help it expand its roster of clientele. In addition, it has added generative AI features with the aim to "improve creation efficiency" for its users, another step to ensure it stays at the front of the market.
