Our take
Most of healthcare today is very reactive – with care being delivered when someone is already ill. Prealize believe that millions of lives and billions of dollars could be saved by focusing on keeping individuals and their families well in the first place.
Prealize attempts to do this through leveraging machine learning and clinical expertise to provide predictive health analytics to healthcare providers. Its services are rooted in the leading research of its two Stanford University academic founders.
The company is determined to expand its portfolio of products and services that can positively impact healthcare in a proactive way. Thus far, that has meant services as wide ranging as a consumer experience platform that invites patients to consider their health earlier to an underwriting platform for high-cost health insurance claimants.
The determinant of Prealize’s success will be its ability to translate its deeply sophisticated machine learning models into practical applications that can be seamlessly integrated into the existing workflows of healthcare stakeholders.
