Our take
The supply chain and logistics industries are going through a turbulent patch at the moment due to rising running costs, growing demand, and labor shortages. However, these are all hopefully temporary problems.
Some more long standing issues that cause conflict – particularly between shippers and retailers – are due to analog (or poorly digitized) processes and unreliable performance data.
ISO, which was co-founded by the co-founders of Uber Freight, is out to change this with a first-of-its-kind collaborative performance platform, giving manufacturers, logistics operators, drivers, and retailers a central space to visualize unified performance data in real time.
The company is still young, only emerging from stealth in 2020, but it’s operating in an underserved space and is well-funded.
