Studying abroad can be an incredibly enriching experience, but high costs and complicated application procedures can make it inaccessible to many. ApplyBoard solves this problem by making it easier for students anywhere in the world to apply for international study opportunities.

ApplyBoard's platform connects students with study abroad courses, and guides them through the application process. This level of support has helped ApplyBoard to set itself apart from many of its competitors, and the company has seen impressive growth since its launch. Following an impressive Series D funding round, the company is now valued at around $3.2 billion.

ApplyBoard's main challenge will be to compete with companies offering similar services, such as StudyFree, and other, more traditional tuition companies. Following a leadership switch-up in 2022, ApplyBoard is expanding its services in line with its claims that it took on more students in that year than in the last six combined. This indicates further growth down the line, despite the economic downturn that forced the company to cut 6% of its global staff.
