Who you are

At least 4 years of experience in backend development
Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
Experience writing unit tests and using mocking frameworks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

Experience with technologies like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Kafka
Familiarity with Web3-related technologies (indexers, relayers, etc.)
Interest in DeFi, cryptocurrency, and the Ethereum ecosystem

Design, development, and maintenance of APIs that power our services
Active involvement in the development and optimization of event-driven systems, such as blockchain indexers
Write comprehensive tests to ensure code correctness and reliability
Participate in the code review process to ensure code quality, identify bugs, and promote best practices among the team
Adhere to the Keep It Simple (KISS) principle in all aspects of development, maintaining a focus on simplicity, clarity

Cometh is a French-based startup creating games built on blockchain technology. The games created can seamlessly connect with DeFi protocols, so they are equipped with a suite of crypto-based financial tools.

While the company's primary focus is on building an end-to-end gaming platform powering the next generation of play-to-earn games, it also focuses on helping gaming firms build out crypto functionality.
