Our take
Healthcare systems are under more strain than ever, and desperately need tools to make patient journeys more effective and simple. Uphill provides such tools, with an orchestrating platform to automate patient care pathways and remove workload from healthcare professionals.
Founded in 2015, Uphill has seen a surge in demand in recent years. Its software, which includes monitoring, analysis and recording capabilities, has been well-received by the sector, and it now serves the largest hospital units in Portugal, covering approximately 25% of the Portuguese population.
Securing funding in 2024, the company is now pushing forward with its aggressive expansion plans, growing its team and business reach. It will also invest in further product development, and it will be interesting to see how its suite evolves over time.
