Science 37’s virtual clinical trial operating system helps pharmaceutical, biotech, academic and governmental organizations to decentralize clinical trials by bringing them to the homes of patients, allowing faster enrollments and more representative participation in trials.
While the pandemic made in-person clinical trials even harder than usual, it also drew attention to the fact that trials have long been limited in their population reach. By catering for remote, or virtual, trials through its network of telehealth professionals and home health nurses, Science 37 is aiming to expedite the entire process.
Previous investment in the company has come in part from legacy pharmaceutical corporations including Sanofi and Johnson & Johnson, showing its strong credibility in the industry. The future looks set for a period of expansion, having announced that it would go public via a merger with blank check investment firm LifeSci Acquisition II.
