Since its foundation in Estonia in 2010, Pipedrive has grown into one of the world’s leading sales CRMs, rivalling the likes of Salesforce, HubSpot, and Agile. Indeed, it’s considered by many to be the best for sales management specifically.
Pipedrive’s growth from a five-person startup to 900-plus headcount across ten locations has been quite spectacular, but the last few years have seen the company go through a raft of significant changes. Chief among these is Vista Equity Partners majority investment, which brought unicorn status.
As well as this, former Google Director Dominic Allon also joined as CEO, while the company has also been expanding its executive team, with a particular focus on sales and marketing. Though already operating from a strong position, Pipedrive looks to be aiming for even greater growth.
