Who you are

At least 3 years of commercial web development experience
At least 4 years of solid experience working with Vue.js is a must
Familiarity with the Vue Composition API or Vue 3 is a must
Solid TypeScript knowledge would be great, but at least the fundamental knowledge is required
Experience using Material Design component libraries (preferably Vuetify)
Ability to turn hi-fi designs into a pixel-perfect UI
Experience working in remote teams is an advantage
Available to work within UTC - UTC+8 time zones

What the job involves

We’re looking for a highly experienced front-end developer to contribute to the 2.0 version of Jibble, which has been built on Vue.js Frontend. The Jibble 2.0 product was fully launched in June 2021
As part of an ambitious team you’ll work with a cutting edge tech stack. Continuous learning and applying new and emerging technologies and methodologies make this an exciting opportunity for you to expand and deepen your skills on the job
You will be working in a team of 11 engineers from 6 different countries, operating in bi-weekly sprints with daily stand-ups. We apply Scrum methodology in the development process and impact is continuously measured
Besides front-end development, you will be deeply involved in the design process - offering feedback and input in meetings with product managers and designers when planning new features and products

Our take

Emerging from the venture-building firm LaunchPad, Payroll Panda is a HR and payroll software platform currently focused on the Malaysian market. Established by former heads of Jibble, Payroll Panda is dedicated to streamlining the onboarding process and simplifying staff payment setups, all without the need for extensive training.

Since securing seed funding in 2018, Payroll Panda has maintained a relatively low profile in terms of further funding, possibly due to its co-founders' involvement in various other ventures. Initially aiming to attain 20,000 paying customers in Malaysia before expanding into other regions within a five-year timeframe, the company appears to still be progressing towards this objective, with the outcome of these efforts remaining to be seen.
