Role
Who you are
- VergeSense is looking for experienced and highly self-motivated Account Executives to help continue the rapid growth of our business
- This person has a successful track record of selling enterprise SaaS solutions into the Enterprise market (F1000s) in a very fast-paced environment
- You are a relentless strategic hunter prospecting in your respective territories and accounts to identify and qualify sales opportunities to engage in, manage, and close
- 5+ years of successful sales track record of prospecting into new territories, positioning & selling enterprise SaaS solutions to F500s
- Experienced in developing new business in an enterprise environment with a strategic focus
- Experience working in sales at a tech startup
- Demonstrable track record of managing complex sales cycles, meeting/exceeding sales targets and driving large transactions
- Experience in managing and driving complex opportunities, leveraging partner networks, negotiating commercial terms, working collaboratively with other functional teams, and deploying/allocating the appropriate resources to an opportunity
- Proven track record of building relationships at all levels of an organization
- Skill in navigating organizations to find and engage the right contact
- Proven experience of leveraging Salesforce to document and track sales activity
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Exceptional time-management skills
- Team player
Desirable
- Experience selling in the prop-tech domain is preferred but not a requirement
What the job involves
- Beyond the initial close, you will proactively manage your installed customer base to drive upsell opportunities
- You will develop subject matter expertise in the Workplace Technology domain
- You will be expected to engage C-Level executives responsible for managing RE portfolios at F500 companies to educate them on the strategic value of workplace analytics

Data collection and analysis are frequently used by businesses to develop efficient software workflows to save money and time, but the AI that fuels these approaches is rarely applied to analyze offline activity. Despite the lack of this application, inefficiencies in the workplace could be solved from such insights by ensuring facilities are managed and used efficiently.
VergeSense builds AI-driven sensors and analytical software that allows businesses to gain insights regarding the usage of their office facilities. The technology can provide information regarding how full seating areas are, whether conference rooms are being used, and where desk space is currently available.
AI is normally associated with automating and improving efficiency in software scenarios, so VergeSense’s goal of collecting data and providing insights about physical office spaces is unique. The company claims that its technology helps offices recognize which workspaces are effective within an office, where changes are required, and how to present the office to facilitate better efficiencies in the workplace.
