Our take
In an interconnected world, foreign exchange is a necessary part of doing business, but few small-to-medium enterprises have the expertise to navigate large international payments. Regulations can be complicated, and transfers can cost up to ten times more than a payment within one country. Finseta, formerly Cornerstone, was founded with a mission to make these payments cheaper and more efficient.
Finseta is not the only player in the foreign exchange space, but its long experience in the market, combined with its responsiveness to the needs of business accounts, has won it a strong customer base of over 1400 clients. Moreover, its expansion to more complex transactions and customer needs, as well as a growing global reach.
Finesta has acquired companies like Pangea FX and Capital Currencies in a bid to accelerate its growth and expand its presence within its core markets. It has also brought on experienced payments industry professional James Hickman as CEO and is recruiting sales talent to capitalise on its strong performance.
