What the job involves

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be at the heart of ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of our cutting-edge platform
This role demands a tech-savvy all-rounder who thrives in a dynamic environment, contributing to DevOps on AWS, development in Node.js and Java, and proficiency in both SQL and noSQL databases
Swift Issue Resolution: Take charge of identifying and resolving issues arising from regular platform operation. Be the go-to person for investigating, fixing, and implementing preventive measures to ensure the highest levels of system performance
Infrastructure Robustness: Elevate the reliability and robustness of our infrastructure and solutions deployed on AWS. Contribute to the design and implementation of solutions that stand up to the demands of a high-performance trading environment
Monitoring and Metrics: Strengthen our ability to monitor application health and gather meaningful metrics. Your insights will guide data-driven decisions aimed at enhancing our current tech landscape
Cost Optimization: Actively seek opportunities to reduce infrastructure costs. Ensure that our technology stack is not only right-sized and free from over-provisioning but is also aligned with the specific requirements of each problem it addresses

Our take

One Trading is a cryptocurrency trading platform serving newcomers, experienced traders and institutions alike. It is launching Europe’s first MiFID II regulated trading venue for crypto, bringing vital infrastructure to the digital trading space.

The company hopes to attract large liquidity providers through a membership model, counter to the more traditional pay-per-trade alternative. It also boasts the ability for orders to be created and cancelled in under 250 microseconds, which would make it the fastest crypto exchange for both retail and institutional clients.

Formerly known as Bitpanda Pro, One Trading rebranded and spun out from Bitpanda in 2023 to become a standalone entity. The company hopes this will allow it to produce faster product rollout, quicker listings, and an improved user experience overall. With this rebrand came a substantial funding round will be used to support the expansion of its crypto asset offerings throughout Europe.
