Essentially, Vianova's product helps cities to interact better with transport operators, fostering collaboration. It is based on the MDS (Mobility Data Specification) communication framework, which enables secure exchange of data between mobility providers and cities and operates on the basis of collaborative data-sharing, which is a growing trend in the business.

Such concepts have already proven effective in the United States. Los Angeles, for example, has successfully been able to actively manage private mobility providers and the public right-of-way using the MDS approach.
