Who you are
- You are a born storyteller who lives and breathes products. You are a great teammate who can easily balance structure with dynamic environments
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in Product Strategy, Global Product Marketing, or Strategy Consulting at a premier firm, demonstrating at least one promotion in a relevant role
- BA/BS degree from a top-tier school, MBA a plus
- Industry experience in Advertising/Media, Gaming, or B2B Technology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a capacity for highly structured and rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills at all levels and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different functions and business units
- Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced, results-oriented work environments
- Self-motivated problem solver who thrives in a dynamic and customer-focused environment
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, respond to customer needs quickly and effectively, and adapt to change
- Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly

What the job involves
- Reports To: Director, Product Marketing
- This is a really exciting time to join this growing business. We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to shape our product roadmap and go-to-market
- You will define & launch products that allow brands to reach and connect with consumers in fresh and impactful ways
- You will play an instrumental role in working with Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership
- Serve as the 'voice of the customer' to Product, gathering insights internally and externally, and conducting assessments of market trends, ensuring that we are building the right products for the right customers
- Lead go-to-market strategy for the launch and scaling of products, including defining product positioning, key messages, marketing strategy, and sales enablement, and leading the cross-functional GTM process
- Own Product communications and partner with Business Marketing to drive marketing campaigns. Craft sales & marketing collateral in various formats (e.g., slides, videos, one-pagers)
- Act as a partner and counselor to Sales and Business Marketing teams and as the face of Product with clients

Gaming is one of the world’s fastest-growing industries, but many still view gaming as inconvenient, inaccessible, or niche. King solves that problem by designing mobile games with broad market appeal.
Since its launch, King has released more than 200 titles in 14 languages, including Candy Crush, Farm Heroes, Bubble Witch, Pet Rescue, and more. The company pioneered in-game spending, which allows it to monetize user interactions without charging them to buy the game. Titles such as Candy Crush are designed to be highly accessible to demographics that wouldn’t usually define themselves as “gamers”, including older users. King now boasts more than 200 million monthly active users, making it a clear market leader.
In 2016, King was bought by gaming giant Activision Blizzard, which has since been purchased by Microsoft. While the company still operates with a high degree of independence, it has greatly profited from the financial and marketing support of its parent corporation. This support has been instrumental in enabling King to maintain its competitiveness in the constantly evolving mobile gaming industry.
