Our take

WorkBoard is an Enterprise Results Platform that helps improve a company's strategic planning, boosting teamwork and collaboration, and tracking employee goals and performance. Cisco, Cision, Microsoft and Samsung are just some of its users.

The objectives and key results (OKR) space in which WorkBoard operates is currently very popular with investors. In 2021, WorkBoard raised $75 million Series D led by the Softbank Group. They intend to use the funds to scale from their current employee base of 250 to 400 in 2021. WorkBoard also plans to expand internationally, into the Asian and Europe markets.

WorkBoard faces competition from many OKR-focused tech startups who are all raising capital at the same time. Ally.io, Perdoo, Gtmhub, Koan and WeekDone are just some rivals. OKR as an enterprise planning method is no longer such a niche concept, so WorkBoard need to keep adding features to their main product in order to stay ahead of the curve.
