Our take
Velocity Black is a digital concierge app which offers unique and luxury experiences to super-rich celebrities and influencers.
It’s appeal lies, in part, with its exclusivity. There’s a waiting list to join, and (unsurprisingly) only ultra-high net worth individuals can join the club. They use a combination of AI and human expertise to curate spectacular experiences from deep sea diving to space exploration, as well as VIP tickets to events like Glastonbury or the Grammy’s afterparty.
It’s seen rapid growth since its conception, and research suggests that the relatively new market of digital concierges is set to boom during the the 2020s, as our lives are increasingly lived online. Velocity Black seems well-positioned the ride that wave of growth.
