Insticator is a monetization platform for publishers, acting as a publisher’s right hand man. It utilizes and activates first-party data to increase the engagement and ad revenue for a website. It claims that 76% of publishers previously had no way to collect first party data, which means that the platform is prime for growth.
The startup helps publishers add features to their content elements like polls, quizzes and suggested story widgets. In order to broaden its solutions, Insticator has continued to acquire a number of companies, including OKO and Squawk-It. The latter provided Insticator with a commenting feature but, unlike other platforms, comments are moderated by humans 24/7, highlighting the company's promise for the finest features to help boost engagement.
The company company has seen truly impressive growth in recent years, and has hired Derek Abildness as VP, Enterprise Sales, who will work to continue aggressively scaling its growth and reach across additional verticals and markets.
