Who you are
- 3+ years or relevant work experience, and 2+ years in growth for a fast-paced startup
- Experience in demonstrating incredible customer acquisition results leveraging scrappy and creative strategies
- Ability to own our customer acquisition function day-to-day and be fully responsible for our marketing ROI and growth results

What the job involves
- You will be instrumental in writing the playbook for designing, running, and optimizing new growth initiatives across the Vetcove platforms
- Define and execute digital acquisition programs with measurable attribution
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members in product, design, and engineering to define and deliver an integrated campaign strategy
- Brainstorm and create engaging content that resonates with veterinarians and pet parents
- Design sophisticated email marketing journeys that drive growth across various initiatives
- Test, measure, and optimize our customer conversion funnel to maximize initial conversions
- Employ data-driven A/B testing to experiment with new ideas and optimize existing marketing initiatives
- Analyze and report on marketing initiatives
- Test and explore unique and novel marketing tactics
Our take
Purchasing inventory for veterinary hospitals can be time-consuming and expensive, as finding the best prices requires a lengthy process of researching suppliers and comparing their prices. Whilst some comparison tools do exist for veterinary organizations, existing solutions do not take into account custom negotiations, GPOs, or corporating pricing schemes, limiting the thoroughness of comparisons.
Vetcove provides an online marketplace for veterinary hospital inventory procurement, allowing clinics to reduce ordering times and costs through its free service. The company achieves this by allowing users to link their existing vendor accounts and list their custom pricing arrangements, helping inform a more accurate comparison ecosystem and boost supplier sales, whilst resolving supply chain limitations.
Whilst veterinary organizations already have access to the suppliers provided on Vetcove’s marketplace, the company stands out by integrating custom pricing arrangements into the comparison ecosystem, helping to provide a more holistic and accurate overview of supply chain inventories and costs. Whilst the marketplace is free for veterinary clinics and organizations, the company charges suppliers to be listed.
