Regnology launched its Regnology Granular Data (RGD) model, a groundbreaking framework designed to simplify regulatory reporting. Building on the foundational Abacus data model, RGD provides a standardised data framework that can handle various datasets of banks. This upholds consistency and quality of data across various reporting jurisdictions.
The company has also strengthened its market position through acquisitions, including its planned purchase of Moody;s Regulator Reporting & ALM Solutions business. The deal will combine Moody's expertise in areas like capital, l,iquidity and asstet-liability management with Regnology's existing reporting and risk tools. By bringing these capabilities together, Regnology hopes to offer a more complete, easy-to-use platform that helps banks and insurers manage complex regulatory requirements more efficiently.
