Devised after its founder, Forbes 30 Under 30 2022 listed Spencer Hewett spent an excruciating amount of time waiting in line at Victoria’s Secret, RADAR is a computer vision and RFID company helping accelerate retail store stock searches.
Utilizing the developments in computer vision and radio frequency identification, RADAR automates retail store processes, providing stockroom searches with speed and location accuracy. Stores can manage inventory more efficiently through automated inventory counts and more accurate in-store stock replenishment. Ultimately, RADAR aims to eliminate checkout lines altogether.
RADAR’s product not only helps practically and logistically, but gathers data that can help retail companies measure customer-product interactions, providing key insights into their customers' behavior. The substantial funding awarded to RADAR so far is down to how many layers of company processes its tool benefits. RADAR’s 2023 rounds of funding will be used to attract more customers and speed up its product development.
