To build a supportive and thriving network for nurses to help them take control of their lives, their career and their future.
With staff shortages being a recurring theme in recent years, hospitals and care facilities need to be able to attract freelance nurses and caregivers to work at short notice. This is what connectRN helps facilitate with a platform that pairs medical facilities with registered nurses on a per-diem basis.
The company puts a focus on nurse retention, and in 2020 strengthened its offering by partnering with Capella University to provide degree programs and scholarships while also adding more initiatives and benefits for nurses. This has attracted both nurses and medical facilities and since 2021 connectRN has experienced 250% revenue growth and has expanded to 40 US states and territories.
More recently, connectRN concluded a major loan package which will provide the firm with additional operating capital and fuel its further expansion into new markets. It is also forming key strategic partnerships, for instance its recent tie-up with nurse-led media company The Nursing Beat to extend its marketing reach.
