What the job involves

Mentorship and Motivation: Drive your team's success through hands-on mentorship and regular one-on-ones. Your leadership will be pivotal in leveling up our development talent
Technical Strategy: Shape the technical strategy to ensure our mobile apps not only keep up but lead the way in tandem with our rapid growth
Product Delivery: In this role, you're not just a code maestro; you're a key player in all aspects of product delivery. We believe in a collaborative approach, where every Treecard team member is encouraged to contribute ideas from product ideation to innovative work methodologies
Lead the charge in delivering and maintaining features for our mobile apps, focusing on delivering value with speed. Embrace the philosophy of recovering quickly from failures, valuing progress over perfection
Take on significant responsibility as an early team member, influencing the product and the company's trajectory
Collaborate closely with our VP of Engineering, backend engineering, and product teams to create a seamless, innovative user experience
What we’ve shipped recently:
Crafted a new subscription flow that empowers users to plant unlimited trees through their steps
Simplified onboarding with new Sign-In flows, utilizing Apple and Google Sign-In functionalities
Enhanced the user experience with in-app e-commerce features, enabling users to buy refurbished tech and second-hand clothing through Treecard

Salary benchmarks

Our take

Directing the flow of consumer finances towards fighting climate change is an extremely powerful way to affect change. Treecard aims to do this by providing a way for consumers to spend more responsibly and to date has planted over 6 million trees.

It is partnered with Ecosia - the eco-friendly search engine - and will be working very closely with them as it grows. In particular, Treecard will be doing all the tree planting and the search engine will provide a core channel for user acquisition.

Treecard is well positioned to become the leading green finance brand with a full suite of products for conscious consumers and business users (green investing, expense cards, bank to bank payments). This is a position no brand has claimed yet.
