One of the world's leading Media & Entertainment groups and the UK’s largest commercial radio company, Global is the name behind leading brands such as Capital, Heart, Classic FM and LBC. On-air, on Global Player and outdoor, the company reaches and entertains over 50 million individuals across the UK every week.

The sheer range of audiences which Global's brands are able to cater to has undoubtedly been a large part of its success – audiences for LBC, Capital, Classic FM and Heart have all steadily risen since they were acquired by Global in 2008. Even now, audio-based media continues to flourish, despite having been overtaken by television and the internet, thanks mainly to the rise of podcasts and voice-activated speakers.

Global also operates an extensive advertising network across digital, radio and outdoor. Their outdoor media business, for example, is one of the largest in the UK – a portfolio of over 235,000 sites across airports, roadside posters, premium digital screens and more. Their offering also includes Transport for London’s Underground network, shopping malls and cinemas, as well as the UK’s largest network of buses in major towns and cities across the UK.

We unite our radio stations, outdoor portfolio, audiences, friends from the media industry and Globallers in raising money and awareness for charities that might otherwise not get heard. Since launching in 2014, Global’s Make Some Noise has raised more than £19 million for 256 incredible charities around the UK, helping more than 78,500 children, young people and thousands more family members
  • We believe in investing in future generations wanting to work in media and creative industries, which is why we set up the Global Academy. A school in London for 14-19 year olds, our unique Academy provides its students with the technical skills needed to succeed in broadcast and digital media. And many of our Academy graduates join us each year, continuing their training whilst fulfilling their first media role!
