Our take
Tweag harnesses the expertise of hundreds of academics, software developers, and engineers to help deep tech companies deliver and fine-tune their products. Acting as the open source program office of Modus Create, a global digital consulting firm, it has made inroads in the tech world not through building its own products but by helping others build there’s.
Essentially running as a consultancy and skill-for-hire agency, Tweag relies on the success of other companies to keep afloat, a facet that hasn’t let them down yet. Its employees have worked within the biotech, fintech, and autonomous vehicle industries in a variety of roles - supplying the company with a wealth of expertise to tackle a range of client requests.
Interestingly, Tweag has an extra dimension, engaging in academic research focused on machine learning and computing. Through this, it not only helps enterprises to create and keep their competitive edge, but also contributes to pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in the tech world.
