Our take
Thread uses a mixture of algorithms and humans to help solve the online clothes shopping problem. It focused on creating great experiences for a small number of people and has expanded now to a great product for fashion-conscious males that don't like the traditional shopping experience.
Thread secured a strategic investment from H&M, one of the biggest clothing manufacturers in the world. This should give them a significant edge as it grows: it will get great supply chain expertise and there's potential to open up new distribution opportunities.
The CEO is a very experienced serial founder, which makes him well-placed to do great things with Thread.
