Who you are
- You are an experienced Agile Digital Product Manager with demonstrable experience of managing and evolving customer centric digital products in a fast-paced environment aligned to commercial performance, metrics and KPIs. You are a champion of EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion), and able to foster a creative and inclusive working environment
- In this role you will require experience of web, content management systems, mobile and payment technologies, organic SEO, with an understanding of digital marketing. Fostering and maintaining great working relationships is key to success. You are a great collaborator, able to work with internal and external delivery teams with exposure of working in a broad matrix of stakeholders regarding strategy and delivery of a digital products
- You must be data and insight obsessed and able to leverage data to ensure the right decisions are made regarding the prioritisation of product backlogs, product roadmap definition and innovation. Google Analytics required. You will have experience of managing customer focussed user digital journeys and you will need to be able to demonstrate your knowledge and use of optimisation tools and A/B testing to evolve a digital web portfolio – Sitecore preferred
- Certification as an Agile Product Manager / Product Owner will be an advantage
What the job involves
- This is a highly collaborative role, and accountable for one (or more), digital products that form part of Macmillan’s digital portfolio. Digital Product managers drive digital strategy, with ownership of digital product roadmaps, optimisations and backlogs to ensure ROI, KPIS and commercial results are realised and reported
- Stakeholder management is critical and this role with work closely with subject matter experts and product owners to ensure alignment with Macmillan’s strategy. This role will collaborate with other multi-disciplinary Technology functions on delivery, on projects, and to optimise the digital product portfolio. This will involve matrix or task management of resources as required
- Aligned to strategy, this role will also review and propose alternative and innovative delivery opportunities and projects as required. It will also help inform and set the digital product agenda across Macmillan evangelising Agile Product Management methodologies, ways of working and opportunities
- Performance, insight and analytics are key, and this role will ensure appropriate performance and insight are in place to drive the performance and optimisation of the digital portfolio in line with KPIs
