HR teams deal with a major headache, using disparate systems for employee information and payroll that don't often line up neatly with one another and require a large amount of manual data entry take make most of their processes work. Finch exists to solve this, providing APIs that allow companes to build a unified process and single dashboard for all a company's HR functions, allowing HR teams to manage employee benefit contributions, onboard new employees and much more without having to manually pull data from spreadsheets, pdfs and internal servers.
Finch isn't the only company to have noticed this problem, and faces major competition in the HR API space such as Merge and Flexspring, as well as products from larger rivals such as Plaid. However, Finch stands aside due to the security features of its product which allows for the data it handles to be encrypted in transit as well as at rest. It also has advanced access management functions to prevent unauthorized people from accessing data moving through the platform.
Finch has recently raised significant funding in a Series B round which will be used to futher develop the product and to hire addition talent, especially in engineering, product and customer success teams. As the company is already revenue positive and the demand for its product is only growing, Finch is well poised for future success.
