Sweeping changes to migration policy have created a dramatic labor shortage in the US agriculture industry. This has had significant knock-on effects on farmers, the communities they support, and the economy as a whole. SESO is setting out to help solve this problem with its innovative agricultural workforce platform.
SESO was founded by two former analysts who turned their expertise towards the underserved agricultural industry. Working to address labor shortages, SESO is streamlining the H-2A visa process for workers, giving farms access to a large network of legal migrant workers. The company is looking to develop and deploy more services for the workers themselves, as well as for their employers. This will create an impressively wide range of revenue lines for SESO moving forward.
With pressures on producers continuing to mount, demand for solutions like SESO's is likely to grow in the next decade. The company is well-positioned to take advantage of this trend, but it faces significant competition from larger H-2A worker program providers. As such, diversification will be key to SESO's continued survival. In 2022, SESO raised impressive funding, which will help to facilitate this.
