Our take

Having an effective way of verifying content that reaches consumers makes for more efficient advertising. Litmus is a testing service that allows for marketing professionals to test, analyze, and improve emailed content. They now have more than 700,000 users across multiple industries, including 80% of the Fortune 100 companies.

Litmus provides a variety of features for email marketers. Clients can test content to seek how the audience appropriate it and strengthen content accordingly. Content can be viewed based on readership to identify what content works and what content is lacking. Most importantly, Litmus’ analytics are applied across digital platforms, including search, social and paid campaigns, to improve marketing performance.

With Litmus’ innovative effort to use codeless campaign building, they are poised to continue their growth within the multi-billion dollar advertising industry. Sedinblue, Mailchimp and MailerLite are among the primary competitors in this market, vying to incorporate technology such as QR codes, cookieless advertising and video advertising to improve sales.
