We have twice-yearly career review cycles with our managers and a clear framework so that we know what we need to do to achieve to progress. I have been able to progress from a Junior level role to Team lead quickly by taking the opportunities offered by the company.

I joined ev.energy as the mission really aligned with my personal values, as we aim to do our bit to decarbonise transport. ev.energy is also a certified B Corp so it meets the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.

We have the chance to work on projects with other teams which is a great opportunity to learn new skills. We're also encouraged to use some of our time on personal development by attending courses, workshops, and talks. Besides that, we have internal talks every other week where one colleague teaches everyone about a subject they dominate and the company often brings in external speakers for interesting conversations.

I can manage my workload the way I prefer. I see a lot of my colleagues working flexible hours too, and the management and hr teem seem to be very open to discussing different approaches.

From day 1 I had a lot of fun chats with my team members as well as other people from other departments. I got assigned a buddy which is suoper nice, and there's always room for a bit of banter in every call.

We are all given development time in our schedules, and the management offered us a budget for work-related courses (language courses, coding, self-improvements etc).

Regular progression reviews every six months. Both you and your manager can agree if you met or exceeded targets and you are allowed to challenge if you disagree. Also as a startup you are able to do work for another team if requested for more experience.

Our work is the future! EV is basically at its' infancy and already so exciting. The growth has been exponential and we continue to diversify and meet new exciting fields.

Our company is fully remote which means you can almost work anywhere. You can also meet people in person at our Team Week (every 6 months) as well as co-work with people in your city
