Traditional players amass commissions and bonuses through intricate engagements from Fortune 500 companies with big budgets. Instead, Nava leverages technology to advise smaller employers on personalized plans and helps employees understand those plans, book appointments, interpret their claims, and resolve billing problems.
The challenge for Nava will be adopting the newest solutions on the market as well as staying abreast of new innovations in healthcare benefits. To this end it acquired i2, a healthcare benefits consulting company that brings additional expertise to the team. It has also released a "Member Experience" offering that simplifies key aspects of the employee benefits journey, from open enrollment to member support and benefits communication.
