Our take
Two thirds of adult women report disordered eating behaviours and face unique challenges when trying to get treatment. Most of these treatments include self-help programmes, cognitive behavioural therapy and medication, which are still surrounded by stigma and not always effective. Juniver wants to change this by offering recovery programmes accessible from your phone, which makes different tools personal, affordable and actionable.
Medtech has reached many areas of physical and mental health, but eating disorders remains an area where technology has not yet offered innovative solutions. Juniver could be the first step in this direction.
