Meet Julia, Senior Manager Customer Success
Inato is a platform that helps biopharmaceutical companies increase the pool of available patients engaged in clinical trials. The platform discovers the best healthcare sites for any given study, combining trial planning, site selection and patient pre-screening into an AI-enabled platform, ensuring its partners successfully deliver trials.
The platform was built to help physicians navigate the increasingly complex research environment, enhancing trial accessibility and representation. It also helps customers to discover research opportunities and streamline trial processes, stepping away from the industry standard of matching patients directly with trials and instead matching companies with community sites. In turn, this diversifies the patients who are available for studies.
Backed by leading global venture capital firms such as Cathay Innovation, Obvious Ventures, La Maison Partners, and Top Harvest Capital, Inato's funding has helped it scale with speed and confidence.

When I joined Inato, I was the first US hire on my team in our early product stages. At the time, I was working directly with sites, but I had always expressed a strong interest in working with Sponsor customers. As our customer base began to grow, my manager provided me with stretch opportunities to work with Sponsors, managing their trials on our platform. These stretch opportunities, combined with the confidence my manager had in me, were what unlocked my rapid development and growth at Inato. Since then, I went from working with sites -> building and managing a team of project managers -> VP of Trial Delivery

As someone who has worked at clinical research sites and witnessed firsthand the limited access to trials, I joined Inato because I was drawn to its mission to increase patient access to clinical trials. It was clear to me during the interview process that the product would have a meaningful impact on the industry, and I recognized the potential of my role in bringing our mission to life.

Over the course of the four years I've been here, I've had the pleasure of seeing the direct impact my work has had on increasing patient access, such as helping more community trial sites get selected to participate in clinical trials and new drugs get approved to go to market. This is a testament to our two co-founders (CEO and CSO), who ensure we remain a mission-first company, even as our strategy may evolve over time to get to our next level of growth. Their leadership and vision give me confidence that we're solving a real pain point in the industry.

Community-based research sites often face significant barriers when sponsors favor large academic medical centers for clinical trial site selection. Yet, these local sites have deep-rooted connections within their communities and trusted relationships with patients—particularly those from historically underrepresented populations. Inato is working to level the playing field by connecting more sponsors with these community sites. By doing so, they empower local providers to offer innovative therapies to their patients and help make clinical research more inclusive and accessible.
