Who you are
- The ideal candidate is a problem solver with exceptional communication skills, a strong technical aptitude, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
- You thrive on identifying root causes, digging deeper than surface-level fixes to create sustainable, impactful solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in a solutions engineering, technical consulting, or similar role
- Proven ability to work directly with customers in a technical capacity
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-based software solutions
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM data object models
- Basic knowledge of networking, databases, and system architecture
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain customer relationships
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with a resourceful and self-driven approach
- Passion for learning and developing expertise in the FinTech stack (Quoting, Billing, Payments, Tax, Accounting)
- Experience working with remote teams on complex software implementations
What the job involves
- We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Solutions Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between technical solutions and customer needs, playing a pivotal role in post-sales onboarding, support, and ongoing customer success
- Provide hands-on support during product setup, configuration, and integration
- Investigate customer challenges, ensure their concerns are heard, and proactively address issues
- Guide customers toward best practices to maximize the value of the MonetizeNow platform
- Solve customer needs with innovative, actionable solutions
- Collaborate with CX Leads, Product, and Engineering to represent the voice of the customer and prioritize enhancements that matter most
- Contribute to customer documentation and create scalable solutions to improve support
- Perform analysis and implement solutions using tools like SQL, TypeScript, or Python
- Write and deploy small fixes or enhancements in production to address bugs or improve functionality
- Delve into processes across our product suite, including - Java/Kotlin codebase, JavaScript/React frontend, Logs and integrated connectors (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Netsuite, QuickBooks, Anrok, Avalara, Stripe)

Many B2B SaaS enterprises struggle with their go-to-market strategies, as they have to stitch together different systems for billing, usage and quoting. As a remedy, MonetizeNow offers an integrated quoting, billing and usage platform tailor-made for these enterprises and their pricing structures.
MonetizeNow is differentiated by this approach, that is more fit for the digital age than alternatives. Not only does it offer a unified alternative to standalone solutions, but features capabilities that are specifically made for SaaS companies; for example amendments and renewals, and a no-code rules engine for tailored automation.
The company has built out a strong presence as traditional selling and billing models become increasingly defunct and out-dated. With strong backing from Two Sigma and Uncork Capital, it will seek to cement its position as a force that is redefining revenue generation within the B2B SaaS landscape, and further its goal of eliminating go-to-market friction for its clients.
