Our take
Many commodity traders still rely on Excel spreadsheets for their day-to-day work. However, in the fast-paced industry, the software is often too slow for collaboration and cumbersome when interpreting large data models. Artis has created a faster, more agile alternative for traders and brokers.
Artis has designed an integrated platform that offers real-time collaboration, all connected to the Exchanges and live broker curves, enabling quick trade decisions. Its workflows are engineered for the specific needs of traders, brokers and tech teams as well as their risk and asset managers. In short, then, Artis unifies the trading workflow and offers more flexibility, connectivity and collaboration than the outdated Excel model.
Though a small company in a sea of large competitors, Artis has been taken up by companies such as Exxon Mobil, Macquarie and Trafigura, indicating a growing reputation in the trader workflow space.
