Who you are

5+ years of software engineering with strong product delivery experience
Strong with APIs, integrations, data models and analytics tooling
Experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Antigravity, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) as part of a development workflow
Strong product intuition and comfort working with ambiguity
Ability to lead and enforce high-quality code standards in an AI-augmented engineering team
Proven ability to ship 0→1 systems with autonomy
Full-stack skills: React/Next.js, TypeScript/Node, Python

What the job involves

Founding Engineer - agentic AI platform to launch consumer brands
The infrastructure layer for the next generation of consumer brands
Own the architecture and end-to-end build of the Go.Shop platform
Drive an AI-assisted engineering workflow across the team — prompt-driven coding, agent-supported development, and rapid iteration
Support the shipping of full-stack features across frontend, backend, data and integrations
Develop practical LLM-powered features and internal agents
Work with product to define requirements and deliver quickly
Set engineering standards, tooling, documentation and deployment practices
Partner with DevOps on infra, CI/CD and reliability
Example product: Creator analytics product: integrations with TikTok, Instagram, Shopify and other commerce/social APIs
Example product: Growth dashboards: insights, benchmarking, reporting, and lightweight marketing tools
Example product: Agentic AI features that automate parts of product design, marketing, and support

Our take

Whilst a brand and product creator may have a winning idea, developing, building and delivering these products is a whole different game entirely. Indeed, many creators find themselves at a loss when it comes to the practical side of building an online commerce brand. That’s where Go.Shop comes in, taking the lead on its customers' fulfilment, delivery and support.

Go.Shop will no doubt face large players in the market like Shopify and Etsy, but it carves out a niche with its lack of upfront costs. Utilising subscription fees and a creator-friendly revenue share, Go.Shop lets its customers focus on building brands and products, with minimal stress at the back end.

As it grows its own presence and brand, it will be interesting to see how Go.Shop fairs in the face of the dominant names in the eCommerce support market. Brands and creators will no doubt be looking for a fresh face amidst the industry’s stalwarts, and Go.Shop has the potential to fill that gap.
