Our take
Whilst a brand and product creator may have a winning idea, developing, building and delivering these products is a whole different game entirely. Indeed, many creators find themselves at a loss when it comes to the practical side of building an online commerce brand. That’s where Go.Shop comes in, taking the lead on its customers' fulfilment, delivery and support.
Go.Shop will no doubt face large players in the market like Shopify and Etsy, but it carves out a niche with its lack of upfront costs. Utilising subscription fees and a creator-friendly revenue share, Go.Shop lets its customers focus on building brands and products, with minimal stress at the back end.
As it grows its own presence and brand, it will be interesting to see how Go.Shop fairs in the face of the dominant names in the eCommerce support market. Brands and creators will no doubt be looking for a fresh face amidst the industry’s stalwarts, and Go.Shop has the potential to fill that gap.
