What the job involves
- Category Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy aligned with business goals, market trends, growth opportunities and customer insights
- Define promotional and assortment strategies to maximize sales and profitability
- Identify, pursue and onboard new brands that align with the category strategy
- Product Assortment and Brand Management:
- Curate and manage the product assortment within the category, ensuring a well-balanced and diverse range of products as well as established and up and coming brands
- Optimize assortment and fill in gaps based on regular analysis of product performance, sales data, and customer feedback
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brands, negotiate terms, and manage brand performance to ensure quality and an exceptional customer experience
- Sales and Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze brand performance, KPIs, delivery, quality and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvements
- Utilize data and insights to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement in category performance
- Collaborate with various teams, such as advertising and creator, to develop and execute promotional campaigns and initiatives
