Our take
Malvertising where apps and services are hijacked by malware which causes them to spam their users with unwanted adverts, is a growing problem. This can lead consumers to unsafe or counterfeit products or scam sites, or spread misinformation, and at a minimum disrupts the security and usability of a service or product.
Confiant, a cybersecurity and ad-tech firm based in New York, aims to counter this category of threat with its ad security platform. Founded back in 2013, the company has built a market leading position - thanks to the speed of its threat detection and its comprehensive network of integrations.
This has grown it a customer base in the thousands that includes numerous enterprises such as IBM, Paramount and MSN. With malvertising continuing to become more prevalent, there is no shortage of a market for Confiant, as it helps to protect the revenue streams and reputations of brands, advertisers and publishers.
