Our take
CRED offers a stock market for fans to buy and sell shares in football players, giving capital to athletes as well as clubs to accelerate their savings and build up their investment assets.
Working with athletes from the Premier League, La Liga and Bundesliga to name a few, CRED allows players to supercharge their investments, reducing risks and in turn securing their future finances. With CRED, players receive their capital up front and all assets are protected with a chunk of the money being locked until the player has retired.
Through early funding, CRED's main goal is to help players find financial security post-career, aiming to grow their assets at higher rates for longer durations.
