Our take
Univers (formerly known as Envision Digital) is one of the leading renewable energy management companies in the world. Utilizing tech solutions to the global climate crisis, it has become a partner for over 500 mid to large-scale companies wanting to reduce their carbon footprint - including the likes of Microsoft, Starbucks, and HSBC.
The company delivers a large suite of products that focus on all digital sides of carbon reduction. This includes renewable hardware maintenance, e-mobility charging, and consumption monitoring among other capabilities. Together, the suite enables accurate measuring of environmental impact through connected devices and allows for actionable insights to be gained from this data, empowering users to make meaningful changes.
With 20 million devices connected, and over 560GW of renewable energy under management, Univers is certainly established in the space, in 2024 being contracted to build Singapore’s first district-level Smart Grid. As the demand for its solutions no doubt rises in the coming years, it should find even more space to grow - headed towards its ambitions to support the net zero future.
