In the crypto sphere, the division between staking and DeFi liquidity pools traditionally limits the extent to which investors can utilize their assets. Berachain disrupts this with its Proof of Liquidity consensus mechanism, that integrates staking and DeFi.
Through a two-step process, token holders lock assets in DeFi pools, earning BGT tokens which can be staked for Honey or converted to BERA, fostering both passive income and active trading.
