Fixico is following a tried-and-true playbook of modern tech companies: aggregating access to independent vendors in a digital marketplace. In this case, car repair shops across Europe are finding customers on Fixico’s platform, and now the startup is working with major insurance providers as well.
Fixico is focused on using technology to ‘matchmake’ between types of car damage and repair shops that results in a smooth, well-priced experience for all stakeholders in the industry.
The company is looking to expand its operations into more European countries, including the United Kingdom and Denmark.
A challenge for the company will be continuing to iterate on its B2B solutions such that it is responsive to its clients’ diverse needs in fleet management, insurance and other verticals that it has now entered.
